Gotta Launch is facinated about water rockets; doing the kind of things with them nobody could have ever imagined being possible!
Things like launching most water rockets at the same time, or even launching a human being with water rockets!
Boyan Šlat is the man behind Gotta Launch, and is assisted by Ruben Kolfers (our human crash test dummy) and several other specialists and artists who together make the impossible possible!

It all begon in 2005 when Boyan and a friend of his, Allard, started doing some small experiments in Boyan's back yard.
They decided to go on doing this stuff during 2006, including launching water rockets (still with the basic valve-and-cork system, of course).
In August they decided they should develop a better launch system for water rockets, which was followed by construction of Gotta Launch' first 'real' launch system; the Bazooooka.
During a period of about a year Boyan was gradually improving the system, becoming more advanced and powerful with every new version.
But the launch system improvements kind of stopped
after the Bazooooka Mk5, at the Mk6, which was such a complicated system, we actually didn't build it (yet).
But of course it didn't stop there!
In the August of 2007 Boyan started with the construction of our first real Gotta Launch project which included by then building 102 water rockets for a world record and the water rocket show.
On the 20th of June, 2008 Gotta Launch had it's first performance; a test with the 102 water rockets for the water rocket show.
There were some issues which didn't make it a 100% succes, but the team learned a lot and now they could prevent those issues for the future.
Then, in Februari of 2009, Gotta Launch officially got permission to perform the world record of launching most water rockets at the same time, but according to the regulations we should at least have launched 200 water rockets succesfully for the record to be accepted, so Boyan then started to expand the amount of rockets to 250.
On the 19th of june, 2009 Gotta Launch performed the world record attempt of launching most water rockets simultaneously, and it was a great succes, since we launched 213 water rockets!
Now Gotta Launch is facing one of his most challenging projects yet; building world's fastest manned water rocket vehicle, withing a relatively small amount of time!
The rocket car will premiere in around March, en we'll even try to set a world record with it!
